Well i have the oppurtunity to purchase a still in box MSD digital-6 ignition for the same price that i can get a MSD 6al for and was wondering what is the difference and would it be worth doing with the digital 6 over the plain ole 6al? My car is basically stock, but am getting some of the basic upgrades everything else goes on.

You can do a lot with the Digital 6 but it is larger so it is harder to find a place to put away from heat and still be able to turn the screws on the unit.

Get the Digital 6 it is a great unit with all the features in one unit. I prefer to mount all the ignitions inside the car away from the heat and elements.

Well i got the digital 6 and am loving it. Its alot easier to do the rev limiter with the rotary dials than the pills. Still messing around with it, but glad i went with the digital

get the digital 6 it is a sweet box. you won't have to upgrade your ignition system after you have that.

I love my Digital 6 if you go the nitrous route later, you will love it even more. Its a box that can grow with your combination.
