Can someone provide a picture of where the white wire goes. It says it goes into the Tach input/signal but I don't know where thats at. Someone said it could also be negative of the coils but I'm not sure what means either..Thanks

You will need to tap the odd colored wire going into the ingnition coil located on top of the spark plug. You only need to do this on one coil. This is only true for the COP(coil on plug) 4.6's.

Is the odd colored wire the negative wire for a coil pack? I ask this because in the MSD Installation Instructions for the Tach Driver (PN 8913), there is a "Figure 5 Connecting to coil per cylinder Ford and Chevy" that shows the red coil wire as the positive wire.

Of all the things I've done to my car this one just doesn't make any sense to me, I'll have to get a pic of an engine so you can point to where its is that you guys are talking about because I'm spaced out

What year is your car Mr Boogeyman? That could be the reason you are unsure of the COPs if you have a 96-98 with coil packs/wires
