Msd question

Hey i just got an msd 6AL ignition box for 20 bucks from a friend who just sold his 85 mustang(with a carb)...and mine is a 93 fuel injected...the question is with wiring...just hook up to coil/distr./battery or do i need an extra harness for my computer. And i want to buy a msd coil...is blater 2 good? and is a harness needed for that? thanks matt

MSD makes a TFI specific coil for the EFI cars...

The 6AL... MSD makes a plug n play harness for its MSD boxes and the Ford EFI cars.. they are cheap.. get one of them for 15 bucks instead of cutting up the stock wiring..

You can do it without the MSD plug n play harness.,.. I did it on a 91 I had w/ a regular 6A, but honestly I forget what wires went where now..

Got the plug in harness on this car...
