MSD6A and Pertronix

I am adding an MSD6A box to my ignition system that consists of stock dizzy and pertronix ignition. Is the white wire on the MSD box used in this application?

The white wire is for a Tach.

The 6A and 6AL modules are a multi-spark ignition that maximizes economy and power. It immediately smoothed my idle and throttle response on my stock A-Code 289. They also deliver a more powerful spark and allow you to operate safely at higher RPMs in modified engines.
