Hi guys,

1) Which is exactly the role of MSD-6AL ?
Really more HP gain with it ?

Anybody know the block diagram of MSD-6AL ??

2) What is the ignition order for E303 (from Ford) and 290HR (from Comp Cams) ??
Anybody knows the exact characteristics of this camshaft (290HR)
(Over lap etc...) ?

The msd puts a longer... more like multiple sparks per power stroke. This more fully burns the air fuel mixture in the combustion chanber thus reduces emissions and giving a fuller burn. You probably will not notice much of an hp gain but your gas milage and throttle response will be the biggest change. The 6AL also has an adjustable rev limiter which is a nice feature to have.
