Allright, I just bought a 05 gt and the wife wants some loud muffler's. I was thinking about the slp loudmouth's, but a couple people said they are obnoxiously loud.

What muffler's are you guys running ?

On a otherwise completely stock exhaust system, the LM's sound quite nice.

I love My SLP's. Had nothing but compliments but if You're worried, a lot of people are running the GTAs from the Shelby GT.

GTAs are not much louder..than stock, if any...just a bit deeper, i had them for about a week and immediately switched them out for the FRPP/Borla Stinger, much deeper and louder IMO

Borla and MAC make a nice louder sound if you want mufflers... If you want LOUD, go with SLP

A cheaper alternative($175)is going an O/R H pipe with the stock mufflers. Here was mine with that setup. I have since swapped the Flows back on.

I put Bassanii's on my car and loved the sound

Then I put the off road x-pipe on, now it sounds cheap and importish.

I am gonna get the Bassanii mid pipe with removable cats. Wish they offered a h-pipe setup like that.

Loudmouths aren't really all that loud OK , they "sound healthy", as long as you leave your cats on.

Here is my car, stock cats, stock H-pipe, with Loudmouths, running all the way up to 6000 RPM. Enjoy!

Friend of mine has Bassani Race axle-backs with lt's and an o/r h and it sound AMAZING. Closest thing I can relate it to is an 03 cobra

For SLP LM's, here is a great video my friend made when he had his.

Love my Flowmasters with the stock H pipe, sounds great to me. Not too loud but enough to make people notice and WOT I think they sound awesome. And since someone will comment on this, no build quality issues with my set or the set my friend has, both are great with 10's of thousands of KMS on them.

I wanted to buy the Motoblue's to give them a shot since they were cheap, but I was sent the Pypes Violators instead. I'm not the only one to have this happen. That said, I couldn't be happier with the Violators. It's a crapshoot as to what you'll receive, but if you're willing to wager, either will be good for the price.
