Muffler removal question

I tried to disconnecting my mufflers from the exhaust pipes to install turndowns. I'm having difficulty getting the mufflers disconnected from the pipes, does anyone have any tips?

Sawzall/Hack Saw/Torch, assuming they were welded in.

hacksaw w/ a metal cutting blade. that's how i removed my stock catbacks at least. I did it by HAND!
