The car in question is a '94 GT Vert.
My wipers were running constantly so I replaced the wiper intermittent module up under the dash by the fuse panel. After I did so, intermittent came back, but there was a new rapid clicking from the multifunction switch (MFS), the signal flasher, and to a lesser extent the new intermittent module. I removed the MFS and tested with meter per my Hanes manual as well as a used unit i picked up to compare. Both switches tested the same and were within Hane's suggested acceptable ranges. I have checked wiring as best I can visually without noticing anything.
When plugged back in, both MFSs have lost their minds. Turn signals do not work or flash rapidly when locked in either turn position, but work fine when held down before the "click". The wipers now have lost intermittent with the new module. Hazards work. Brights work. Clicking sounds only occur when jiggling the arm slightly when locked into either turn position. Headlights and fogs work as well. Fuses are fine, but replaced for good measure.
I am going crosseyed. I'm at a loss as to what is shared between these parts besides the MFS itself.
I appreciate your help for sure. This puzzle sucks!
