mustang 1966 Oil in intake

Hi
I have a 289 2 barrel carb in my 66 mustang and i have problems with my engine.
The engine was rebuild ( changed rings, valve seals, bearings and so on...)
My problem is blue smoke from exhaust.
I have taken off intake manifold found lots of oil in intake ports.
spark plugs are wet with oil.
I disconnected the pcv to eliminate it as the cause.
tried using 0.04 mm ticker intake seals and tried with sealing product and without.
heads ware machined and tested (thy are ok)
tried driving the car like this and engine spent 2 leathers of oil in about 400 km
engine run smooth and its stable so there is no air leaks.
I need ideas before i take of the heads and check bottom of the engine.

Chacked compression and its same on all 8 cylinders.
Will try leak down test tomorrow

Did the leakdown test and all 8 are in the green.
No surprise since valves, gaskets, rings are new.
I installed diffident intake manifold today, tried fast test drive.
No smoke on startup but after 2-3 mins it started smoking from exhaust and some smoke from pcv hole and from oil cap (runing with no pcv atm to eliminate it as a problem)
Is it possible I am burning buildup oil from exhaust?
Is it possible that my original intake manifold is bad and not sealing? If so why no false air?
and if the rings are not sealing why is there oil in intake? it can go to exhaust but not in intake as i understand it.

Will try runing 50km and see if im losing oil.
If my oil is not on max after that ride I will have to rebuild it seams... no more ideas...

What valve covers do you have ,do they have oil baffles? If they do not have baffles below the pcv valve and the oil fill cap the motor will suck oil .
You need the PCV valve ,check it to make sure it is good ,it should rattle when shaken .
Take the oil fill cap off while the motor is running ,does oil spray out ? If so ,there is either no baffle ,or there is crank case pressure build up ,or piston ring blow by

I am using oem covers i have new baffle and new pcv valve.
I was runing with the pcv conected, but after my initial problem of blue smoke on exhoust i tried runing with no baffle and no pcv to eliminate oil coming into intake.

Oil in intake almost has to be PVC related

Horse sence has called it right. These are the usual problems. Pvc with out baffles, or oil rings not seating in causing blow by.


Further diagnosis requires more information.

How about a picture of the inside of valve cover showing baffles.
How much use on engine since rebuild?
Was engine bored oversize?
Were valve guides replaced as well as valve seals?
