After examining my mustang i have determined that their is a leak coming from both sides of the convertible top where the back glass assembly meets the convertible top near the black trim. Can someone please tell me how easy it is to replace or if i should just take it to a garage. also a ball park figure would be appreciated.

It is leaking from where the glass is attached to the fabric or where the fabric meets the side panels?

I have been attempting to install a new top on my 1973,,it is not an easy job.
I was quoted between $350-$500 for the install,,,next time I'll pay someone else

Is it leaking from the rear wind screen? Look near the corner of the glass for a pin hole leak in the fabric. Very common problem with late model Mustangs. What happens is the fabric fatigue from bending at the same spot over and over.

It's very possible to just replace the rear wind screen. Use a new part. It's not that $$. Most of the cost is in the labor. Consider using a professional unless you have done this before.
