Mustang engines and sound

What is your favourite sounding stock late model mustang? The 5.0, 4.6 2v, or 4.6 4v?

Nothing and I mean NOTHING sounds like a 5.0. I can be out with friends and hear some fire up a 5.0 in a parking lot and I stop and look around. Most of my friends have have a WTF look on their face. I just point out the 5.0 and they understand then.

the 5.0 is one of the greatest soundings engines.....I dont care who you are.... I originally was a 4.6L guy a long long time ago so my opinion is not too biased

I love the sound of a 4.6 4v myself when doing some 7k rpm shifts
At idle though my friends 408w in his notchback just sounds sick loping away

5.0s sound good, 4.6s sound a lot better... 03-04 Cobras with Long Tubes, OR X, and Borla Stingers/SLP LM 1s/Bassani sound stupid good! I might be going with a stinger catback on my car in the next year or so if I do what I want!

I think 5.0s with something other than flowmasters sound better than most 4.6s. But a DOHC 4.6 with a magnaflow catback sounds pretty wicked too.

my friend has an '04 Terminator with BBK lt's, BBK o/r x, and a MAC flowpath 3" catback... it is by far the meanest sounding exhaust i've ever heard

my 4.6 2v sounds pretty nasty but there is something about my 331 at 6500rpms that sounds SICK!

the best i have ever heard is my dads 70 boss 302...solid lifters, a huge cam, longtubes, h-pipe into 2chamber flows. absolutely wicked. the next best would be my buddys neighbors terminator....i dont know what exhaust but i do know its got a kenne bell at 19lbs and some kind of custom ground cams
