Mustang GT/Cobra GT??

Hi everyone, i am a bit confused. i went to carfax.com and put in my VIN on my 89 GT, just to see what i could, and when it came up it said 9 records for an 1989 Mustang GT/Cobra GT. What does Mustang GT/Cobra GT mean?

In Canada, the GT's are known as Cobras. I dunno why, they just are. Crazy Canadians. lol
