Mustang guy need help with Chevy Power Windows

My neighbor has an 89 Chevy full size van and needs to pull the pwr window motor.

The wiring connectors to the back of the window and lock switches has a small round blue knob, or handwheel, that has an arrow showing which way to turn for off.

We have turned every whichway, and the connector will not come off the switch.

Anyone know how these come apart?

Why does he need to remove the motor??? Does the window not work, on some vans they had this stupid grounding that the door panel had to make perfect contact with a metal contact on the door, if the door was heat warped it may not be making contact = sans working, to test this push against the door while pressing the switch.... If is not the reason you are taking it off, disregard.
