Mustang/Montego crossover parts ??

Hi, Just curious about a 73 Mercury Montego I'm looking at.
It has a nice 351w 2v with AT trans that I want to use in a 69 Mach I'm building. It also has a good 9 inch rear and front disc brakes that I won't need, but I'm am wondering if the spindles/brakes and rear will fit earlier Stangs ? Anyone know what else on these cars can be used on earlier Mustangs or Cougars ? Also, the body is excellent if anyone knows of someone who needs the body parts. Any help / info is appreciated. So, does anyone out there know if those spindles and disc brakes will work on an earlier Mustang ??

yes the spindles will work nicely on early stangs. info that applies to the granada brake swap applies to the montego swap. the rear will need to be narrowed to be used in the mustangs.
