Mustang/Montego crossover parts ??

Hi, Just curious about a 73 Mercury Montego I'm looking at.
It has a nice 351w 2v with AT trans that I want to use in a 69 Mach I'm building. It also has a good 9 inch rear and front disc brakes that I won't need, but I'm am wondering if the spindles/brakes and rear will fit earlier Stangs ? Anyone know what else on these cars can be used on earlier Mustangs or Cougars ? Also, the body is excellent if anyone knows of someone who needs the body parts. Any help / info is appreciated.
