Hi all, not sure if this is the right place for this or not...but here goes.
I have an 06 Civic Si right now and it's ultra-reliable and pretty fun. However my dream car is a Mustang. I am at a crossroads here and I need advice. I owe about $9k on my car still. Should I trade it in and get a new(er) Mustang GT (say 05+) and have it as my DD... or keep the Civic as a DD and get an old Fox for maybe $3k or $4k and build it up? Both have pluses and minuses. I've never owned 2 cars, so I don't know what the insurance will do...but doubling gas, inspections, tires, etc. isn't too exciting to me. However, driving a Mustang in the winter doesn't appeal to me either. Both the sketchiness of RWD in wet and ice, and the damage that salt would do to the car.
Opinions here, please and thank you!
