I'm up for this. What hotels are near by ?

Got to drive in from asheville.
How big was last years event?
What time does it start and end?


This sounds fun I'm pretty sure I'm going.
I might not drag my car due to the crapy luck I have unless I can get hold of a trailer to bring it on.

Anyone want to meet up and ride there?

There aren't any hotels right at the track of course, but there are some out at the Mooresville exit 36 where you get off the interstate. I'm not familiar with the hotels there, anyone care to share this if you're local to Mooresville?

Last year we threw together at the last minute so the turnout wasn't as big as it will be this year. We're really promoting this thing everywhere for '04 and are expecting the biggest turnout in the 4 yrs we've been doing it. That and the fact that more 04 Mach's and Cobras are out in people's arsenal along with the 05 Mustangs, should make for a nice event! We even have a class for the 05's.

Ryan and Mikie, glad you guys are coming!! See you there!

'05's aren't sold yet but there should be a few on the streets by Oct 23 if Ford sticks to the schedule so we are hoping a few will come out to the show or race.

We are now adding sponsors to cover the Shootout classes. Should be a $200 cash award for the winner of each class! Now you have a reason to come out.

Vortech/Paxton just covered the 4.6 2v Power adder class and will be awarding $200 for that class.

For directions... its pretty much a straight shot off I-77.

As for hotels, there arent too many choices unless you drive to salisbury/kannapolis/concord. All about 30 mins away, shoot me a PM and I can give you a list of hotels in the kannapolis area just off I-85.

Anyhow, this is my first post but I look foward to see'n some of yall out there.

Come up I-85 to exit 38 for I-77 interchage. Get on I-77 North. Go to exit 36 for Mooresville. Turn right off the exit onto Rt 150. Go rougly 5-7 miles until you're out of the city limits. You'll come to a "Y" at Rt 152. Take the Right Fork. Go about 1-2 miles, turn onto Wilkinson Rd at the Mooresville Dragway Sign. The track is on that road about 1 mile down, you can't miss it.
