I've done a million searches for transmission tag look ups and decoders...still can't figure out what trans I have.
I bought a motor trans off Craigslist,was supposed to be out of a 97 gt...however it has PI heads on it. The guy said the heads have never been touched so the year must be wrong. So...long story short ifl what trans came with it.
The tag reads:
PKE-AK1 XR3P-7000-BA 026240
Tail housing casting reads:
RF-F3LP-7A040-AA 42W
It's an automatic, so it's either a 4R70W or an AOD. Just need to know which one and what year it was made.
