The cheapest black molded carpet I have found is 99 bucks at Mustang Unlimited for my hatchback. How is the quality on these carpets. Are the 5.0 resto or Year One carpets that much better to justify the extra money?
i bought mine from 50resto for like 110$ or something, and to be honest i think all of it is the same, i mean your looking at a price difference of 10 or 15 dollars...
They are all made by ACC out of Alabama. Just got through ordering mine through 50Resto, $98 for the carpet before shipping. Told me it would be shipping straight from ACC.

I ordered the same carpet from 50Resto and it shipped direct from ACC in Alabama.
The quality of the ACC is no where near the quality of the stock carpet, even thought thats what they claim. The carpet I ordered is still in the box that it was shipped in I never installed the ACC carpet once I open the box and saw the quality. But for $100 what can you really expect I guess. My $.02
The only other alternative I’ve ever read about was the stock carpet from Ford which I had heard ran about $400.
I was never able to locate anyone who carried the stock carpet and that’s the reason I bought the ACC carpet (which I never installed).
So to answer your question NO I don’t think there is a better alternative, just don’t expect it to be anything like the stock carpet is all.
