Do any of the 4.6 ladies and gents plan on attending? If so book your reservations soon... they fill up earlie.

Its a great time, im lucky enough to not have to travel to it. Each year it gets better, and each year we seem to have an infamous departing wreck...

I advise anyone within a reasonable distance to take the trip down to Myrtle Beach and see this.

Yeah Vegas would be a big trip. I think the farthest away I heard (doesnt mean that was the farthest) was like Minnesota or somewhere around there.

is this a big event. I have always wanted to go to a mustang show but i dont know alot around here (nebraska). I wouldnt mind making a trip of it but, i would like to know if it is worth the drive or is a more of a local (just surrounding states) type of thing. If anybody knows of any mustang shows here in the midwest please let me know, pm me

Its a pretty big event, I think there were right around or just over a thousand cars last year.

Helty, the Stangs never hit their own type, lol.

Seriously though, its just part of having a high powered car around a huge group of people. Everyone wants to show off and one person always ends up biting off more than they can chew and wrecks.

you know i'll be there!! hopefully with a new engine this year.

burningrubber, since you are a local would you be willing to help me find a good house to rent for the week? i can look online but i need a house that has a flat driveway to get my car in and out of. i stayed at north MB last year and it was WAY too far tio drive. not to mention that parking my car in a hotel lot was a NIGHTMARE!

The only mustang show i know of in the midwest is the ford nationals at gateway international raceway in st.louis. I heard its pretty big but its not only mustang, it has alot of dif. fords involved.

got it. we are booking a house this week. we had to get N myrtle again b/c the condos were twice as much at MB.

thanks for the help. we should get together and go for a cruise this year. i will be down there from sunday to sunday

Glad you were able to find a place, even if it wasnt in the heart of MB.

I think (as far as I know, not 110% sure) there will be a cruise like there was last year... it was huge...

I sware...whoever schedules these events doesn't look at what else is going on. The biggest drag race of the year is during that time too.

^That would be sick . Bug jeeze thats just much too far for me...I thought 950 miles to modularpowerhouse was rediculously far. So much so that I dread the drive up there to even get it tuned .
I SOOO wich I was close to this because it would wicked awsome.....and thanks VERY much for the offer!

i'm serious, you need to come up! it may be a 20 hr drive but you get a week at the beach for free! i have a house that sleeps 7-9 and i have 6 staying with me so i have extra room. i just hope you arent a serial killer
