i found a gt350 hood locally for pretty darn cheap. the guy is asking $250 for it.

how is the quality and fit for the fiberglass hoods from mustangs plus? anything i should look out for?

They get their stuff from Maier, and in all honesty, the fit is less than perfect. While I can't speak for their '65-'66 stuff, my '67 Shelby hood and nose was pretty bad. The good news is, fiberglass is easy to work with and cheap to fit provided you do it yourself. If it were me, it'd jump on a $250 hood in a heartbeat. It can all be fixed if you don't mind a little work. Mine was too narrow, too short and bowed down in the center, but it fits perfectly now and I have less than $60 in materials.

At full price, I would stay away from Mustangs Plus. I posted my past experiences with may GT350 hood here:

But in hind sight, it was a good experience learning how to fiberglass.
