Mustangs Rule!

I am so tired of hearing people complain about that their car is not as fast as whoever's ____ (fill in the blank). So what! There is always gonna be a faster car out there. I bought my mustang because I am a stang freak and I love the way they look, sound, and drive. Who cares if an LS1 is faster! Hell with that much more cubes and power of course it's gonna be. Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with tricking a car out or making it faster, I mean that's what the majority of us have done or are doing. I just hate it when people get on here and you see pictures of their awesome looking stang and all they can do is talk bad about it. Of course it sucks when you lose a race, but hell you can't win 'em all. Anyways, mustangs rule and you know it!
 
I think we're not so much frustrated with mustangs in general, just with Ford for not giving us a bigger/better/more powerfull engine base to start with.
i.e. - 5.4, or 351..God would drive a 'stang if they came with 351s stock :drool:

Right on, I agree that ford could put something a little bigger than 281 cubes in the stangs but I think that the little boogers aren't bad at all for what they have, and for the most part stangs have always had fairly small v8's from the get go (289, 302, etc.) I think that if anything they need to step up the low end torque some, add a 6 speed for the gt's and lower the rear gear ratio a little (like 3.73's stock). But like any car you can always think of something to improve!! And I still love my car for what it is! I can see why people might be prone to complain about the npi gt's though. ford just had a big stupid attack on that one! at least they look good and sound nice though. i'd sport one.
 
Man show some respect. I'm not an idiot and I am not some teenager either. Just because you see that this is my first post doesn't mean that I haven't been reading forums on here for years. What if I was a kid, you should still give me nods for being die hard about stangs, right? I mean, am I on Stangnet or Criticworld? Also last I read, you'd have to bolt on h/c/i on a 5.0 to achieve near 300 rwhp, same as a 2v 4.6 more or less.
 
ha, right! well that explains alot! dude, don't be hatin' on the 2v man. I mean c'mon, you can make any mustang motor bada** if you do enough to it. there's this one guy on here i forget his screenname but he's got a 99-04 gt w/ all the bolt on's and cams and he's running like 12.79's. I mean that's pretty good for n/a w/ an almost stock motor. that would pretty much hang w/ a stock terminator and take a stock ls1!!
