We've been to the last 5 Pony Trails and People's Choice shows. I think we'll be going on the Pony Trails again this year, but I'm not sure about the big People's Choice show. The awards presentation part of the day is sooooooo long. They really need a way to shorten that part of the day up. If we end up going, we'll probably not stay for the awards presentations.

Must there be sooo many awards for all the 60's models? I mean, just hand em all a trophy on their way in and end this thing by 3 pm!! Better yet, start from the late models then work your way back.

They should award the MCA trophies on Saturday. Instead they take our day[peoples choice] and are the first ones to be awarded. That is the problem.

I haven't missed a Round-Up in a decade, but it's been getting sooooo long and drawn out that we've decided to do Pony Trails on Friday, then head up to Victoria on Saturday for the Vancouver Island Mustang Association's Summer Spectacular show. The VIMA folks are a lot of fun and there are a lot of cars up there that you don't ever see down here. The Round-Up has been fun, but it just seems to be losing it's luster over the last few years. Nothing specific that I can point to, it's just not as much fun anymore.

I have a feeling this years Round Up will be back to the kind of event it was several years ago.

Bill Smallwood is going to be running it again this year.
Some of the lost luster should be back. It sounds like he has some really good stuff planned for this year. The rumor is Griggs Racing will be coming up for the Ride and Drive. They should be bringing their 2007 Mustang GT test car for ride alongs
