it took me from 1964 to get a mustang. it's not pretty thats for sure. if i did it right there is two pic;s of it one week before i got it. it's filthy dirty as you can see. i got it last Thursday 6/22/07 so far i filled a 5 gal pail if dirt, papers, mouse nests. speaker wires all over the place. well not any more. going to take some time to figure out the wiring out. i took off the wiper arms and cowl to day to clean out leaves and crud under it.. the paint is junk whats left of it. interier is in pretty good shape other than filthy dirty. should clean up ok. only one tare on the pass seat at the piping about 5" long. it is going to be my daily driver. i will rent a steam cleaner after the 4 th. to clean up inside.
have no idea how i'm going to come up with the money to painy it down the road. i would be happy with a good primer on it.

Looks like you got some work ahead of you to get it ready for the road. My cars in primer right now and I'll tell you this, make sure you don't get any grease, or oil on it, because you have to sand it all off and seal it also (stops rust from forming)

Have fun with the car and keep us updated
