My 65 Project came home from the paint shop around 1:30 this morning! I have lots to do before I can drive it, but I have a 4 day weekend, so I expect to get lots done. Pictures will be coming soon!!

Got a couple of pics, it got dark too early. I spent the day hanging emblems and putting the headlights and taillights back on.

They will be soon, I have the GT style trumpet tips, but I have to get it put all back together before I can take it to the muffler shop and get them put on. Thanks for noticing, hey at least I used steel wool and Never Dull on the old chrome tips, they were covered in overspray. I am going to get a blade for my sawzall and cut it just behind the tips so they don't show until then.

Thanks man! I got a big box of parts today, the stuff I need to finish putting it back together (at this point) but I had to take a night off and clean my Vert, it rained mud Sunday night and people were making fun of me because my car is always so clean! More pics to come as I make progress.

Not too fast there. You dont want to be blowing exhaust, etc. into the back of the valance and ruin your new paint.

looks great!

Haha, this is weird. Not only am I also from Tyler, but I own a red hardtop. It's a '68 though. Bought it in Oklahoma in October after wanting one for... ages.

I should have it back from the shop tommorow. Took it to Terry's repair (off of paluxy) to have him work on some electrical problems. Where did you get yours painted at?

Place called Pro Custom Autoworks, it is out Old Jacksonville, south of Grande, just before you get into Flint, on the left. He does nice work, and he has gotten to be a good friend too.
