ok i talked to a local custom shop and they looked up my subs and they require 1.25 cubic feet, they said the best way is to buy 2 single boxes for it and screw them together (they had some there $70 per box) ... they are mtx terminators with the terminator amp and a sony xplod head unit by the way.... and it does have the mach system but most of its all been taken out by a previous owner.... i have the two tweeters (not hooked up and have no clue how to without the stock system) and the back two that are on top behind the back seat.... i think they are hooked up.... any ideas for either the stock stereo and the subs?

i really think you should decide if you are keeping this car or not before starting to mod it.
if so, then by all means, start modding it.
typically, a cold air kit by itself doesn't usually result in any noticeable power improvement. and $75 for a cold air kit seems very high to me. again though, that might be par for the course with the V6s ...

IMHO, Cold Air Intakes rank right up there with The Tornado, as a great way to separate buyers from their cash. I seriously doubt you'll net any noticeable gain, other than the possible weight loss of 75$ from your back pocket.
What's your goal? If you're wanting a serious performance improvement, start with a gear swap. Then work on your handling.
If you're committed to doing a serious V6 build, start saving your pennies, and developing your plan. Do LOTS of research, and come up with the best overall combo of power-adder, intake, heads, cam, exhaust, along with a quality build to assemble all the parts WELL. There's a lot of power wasted on most builds due to poor attention to detail. But that's another story for another day. You're not ready to start buying engine components yet.
If you do your homework well, develop a plan and FOLLOW IT, you can build a really sweet V6 that'll perform, and be different than all the GTs out there.
If you don't have the patience, then sell the car and buy a V8 to start with.
Seems like all this desire to mod is just impulse thoughts. Do not waste money on trying to make this car fast and do not convince yourself that you can swap motors since you have made it clear that you do not have the skills to do so. Since it sounds like you want to keep the car however my suggestions include lowering springs, a nice set of wheels and tires, and the sound system you are putting in. That way it will look awesome, the stereo will make it fun to drive around in, and you won't be dumping money into something thats probably not worth it. This is just the route I would take.
If you TRULY want speed and having it is that important to you do yourself a favor and sell the car before you put a dime into it. If you take some time and realize the whole need for speed is just an impulse then enjoy your V6 and save your money. Good luck.

If you're going to get wheels, PLEASE get the proper back spacing/offset. I see 6'ers runnin' around all the time with tires sucked way into the rear wheel wells and it looks like ass! These cars have big, round hind quarters so factory backspacing is the absolute minimum! We usually like to see them come closer to the edge of the wheel wells!
And please no 3.5" exhaust tips sticking out the rear! That is absolutely hideous and will get you laughed at by any muscle car enthusiast who happens to be passing by. I've seen some V6's that look and almost sound like V8's running around and they are nice! Just my .02, its your car and it'll be up to you ultimately.
