My car keeps stalling.

I drove my car for about an hour and as I was pulling into my parking lot at work it stalled. I tried starting it again, and it cranks, on the third try it started again. I drove about 75-100 feet to my parking spot and it stalled again. I tried starting it again, but it would only start once and just for about 2 seconds. Any ideas as to what is going on here? Thank you for any help.

how old is the fuel filter? pump? any changes in the combo lately?

Nothings changed lately, but I think the pump was changed fairly recently, I'd say within the last two years. The same thing happened to me about 4 months ago and I totally forgot that it had happened. Will banging on the filter help loosen things at all to at least help me diagnose if that is the problem?

is the pump running (priming) every time you turn the key on? try cycling the key on/off/on/off/on, then try to start...may help trouble-shoot a fuel pump/filter problem.....

Yeah I hear the pump so then I guess it would most likely be the filter?

could be a number of things.......does it sound like its running out of fuel when it dies? or just shut off? filters are cheap......

Filter is cheap so I'll try that first.

If it gets worse, check for missing spark and/or injector pulsing. Possible failing TFI module or PIP.

Pulling codes is always an idea Jacob. You might have a soft one stored. Any PIP, TFI or IDM codes are telling.
