My car(stock) where is my ideal shift point?

I am getting a shift light and would love to set it. I need to know, if you can remember, when your "modded" cars were stock..... what was your ideal shifting point....keep in mind, that my engine is STOCK(Bad). I need some serious shift-point-action to beat up on them imports, read: honda, acura....(those are in my speed range with a STOCK motor) thanks pals

somethin like 5000 to 5100 should be fine

5200 after that the stock cam falls on its face. mine is stock(engine) thats when I like to shift.

I seem to run faster when I shift right around 5200 rpms. I am basically stock as well (C & L 76mm MAF, Magnaflow Catback). This seems to be pretty close to normal for a stock 'stang. hp levels drop off after that.

Do those times on that page seem right to you guys: 94 gt, 0-60 in 7 sec. and 1/4 mile in 15.6 @ 89.3 ?????????

That seems kinda slow to me...Bad driver maybe??? or Bad driver and auto???
Those times just seem a little slow.
