hey guys, got a 95 gt with an aode, and its kickin my ass. A couple weeks ago, i thought my tranny finally kicked the dirt.. i was driving home from work and it wouldnt shift from 1st, and if i let off the gas it would drop down to about 1500 and make a loud 'clank'. I ended up having to drive home with the shifter in 2nd. the next day i rode around the neighborhood and if i started off in 2nd and shifted it into drive around 2 grand it would be fine, untill i slowed down enough for it to drop into 2nd or 1st. then it acted like it was bouncing between the two, buddy of mine told me his was doin the same thing and he fixed it by flushing the tranny and filling it with new fluid and a friction modifyer. tried that, still wasnt working right. tried messin around with it today and smelled something burning under the hood, turned out to be my spark plug wire burning on my header. replaced all the wires and spark plugs, and now its shifting great. except for reverse. when i put it in reverse, the car squats down like its in gear, but wont go anywhere, even when i give it gas. i even revved it close to 3 grand... and nothing. my reverse never gave me any problems before now, so i dont THINK its gone... but i dont know..
any of you had the same problems? or have any ideas what to check?
