My car wouldnt start twice?

I have a 2001 mustang gt. About two months ago i was in my drive way and boom the car wouldnt start. It happened out of the blue last night too. Its not the battery because i hear all of the electricity turn on when i turn the key, but the the car wont even attempt to start. Its like this for a few minutes, then all of a sudden the car will start again. Can anyone help me??
