well guys i have another mystery to ponder. my ac/heat controls wont come on now. they came on when i left the house. i turned the car off at a store and now they wont come on. the fan wont even blow. i have checked all my vacum ports and checked all fuses. i even made sure my plugs where secure behind the knob panel. what in the world could be causing this??? i did swap dashes last week but im about 98% sure everything was reattached.

If you did dash work you might want to do a visual inspection of the ignition switch connector to see if any wires backed out. The circuit is a straight feed from the ignition switch to the fuse to the controls.

Is it just the blower not working or are there other accessories inop also?

If your turn signals and rear window defroster are working then that bank of fuses is getting power from the ignition switch. If the fuse is still good then the problem will be after the fuse box (unless the fuse box is the problem) and you need to check the power path.

Input to the control from fuse 9 is via a BR/O wire. The DB/LG wire leaving the control feeds the blower motor.

Also check the connection at the blower motor resistor behind/below the glove box.

have not done this yet. how do i go abotu checking this resistor?

To check the resistor you can remove it from the blower box and do a visual check to see if anything is broken and you can take a meter across the coils and thermal limiter to see if you have continuity across the components.
