My dad just came home w/ this:

Ah, ok, that makes more sense. German cars are near perfect right out of the box.

Maybe the new ones are different, but I know for a fact that the early 2000's gti's CRAVE a chip. On an aggressive chip, they can get 25 dyno'd horsepower to the wheels with no aftermarket mods, add a front mount IC and it can be 35+

I had no idea, until I saw it happen.

I wonder if the newer German cars come more aggressive from the factory.

By the way.. I love audi.

lmao my friends mom has an Audi 1.8(T? I think) A4 thinger...and I raced him in it from a dead stop and blew his doors off twice. IN MY SATURN! lmfao my little 1.9L...hahaha he said its fast as in top speed but defineately not quick. Surprised me.

A4's are pretty mod-able. You can really open them up, especially if you change the turbo and so on. There is one in town that is very very fast.

There is also a guy in town with an s4 running high 11's. On our closed course, he put 5 car lengths on me from 30 to 120, and he weighs 23434562425 lbs.

Also, speaking of saturn.. I have a nitro satty. So much wasted money into it too. Headers, ported intake manifold, head, full exhaust, cams, completly rebuilt engine. All that and the tranny broke, something about the differintial pin blew threw the block

It's a 93 SL2

It would be hard to pass one of these up for $29-30k with ~20k miles. Considering he liked 'Vettes -- the CTS-V has the 6-speed and LS2....kinda like a 'Vette in a tux.
