Looks good although I am wondering why you have the filter on the throttle body. LOL
We got my car all done today too. I got CPR rails to go with my p-51, I want to warn you to make sure you lube the injector rings with vasoline because they will come loose and spray fuel everywhere, as mine did tonight at the movies!!! Thank god for friends with tools. Anyway, looks like you are off to a great start, and try not to get frustrated...always expect the unexpected.

we had a TON of missing parts, bolts and other misc stuff today. the blower and a few 8 rib pulleys are all thats left now.

i figuredi'd give it a N/A look for these pics since you'll never see the filter again

The hardest thing to do is take your time.....things in your head always seem to go so much faster than they actually take in real life. LOL

glad to see it comming along. it looks good. i should be getting my car in the shop the 12th or 14th....next week sometime for the blower set up finally. i got my engine from MPH and now we are good to go! i cant wait to get the p 51 on there but ran out of funds for now. i figure ill add that later.

nice tho see a couple of novi2000 users going strong too with the popularity of the kb's!

i gotta find a belt (i have the part#) and run the fuel lines and it will be ready to go.

i installed all the 8 rib stuff and the blower today at work. i also installed the wideband sensor and gauge on the steering column(still need to wire the power and ground and hide wires)

if all goes well and i can actually get a belt tomorrow it SHOULD be ready to crank up by the time i leave work. Dyno will be scheduled for sometime next week after i finish all the nitrous plumbing and wiring.

it's kinda funny, i'm really not in a rush to finish it. i guess not driving it for the past 9 months is still messing with me

How cool. How much hp you're looking to make when all is said and done?

I don't know how you can go so long with the car down. I went nuts when my GT was down all last summer!

i'm wanting anything over 600 to the wheels.

i actually have a real "goal" set for it but i dont want to say anything and then it fall short of what i wanted. i am fairly sure that 600 will suffice on the street. i have driven a couple of other 500-575hp stangs that were more than a handfull on street tires!

the down time was very frustrating, but once the engine was out i didnt think about it too much till feb. i had a lot going on from oct to jan so it really wasnt that bad. getting a nice DD made it a little easier since i didnt have to drive my 250K truck everyday.we're gonna see in a few days howmuch the waiting has paid off

i finished the install on tuesday morning. it took me 3 days to find a belt to fit the car right. i finally got the right belt today at lunch. i got to drive the car for the first time this afternoon. just my luck i ran out of gas about 100 feet from the gas station. luckily my buddy was there and helped me push it to the pump.

anyways the car is at Fastlane right now getting the section of IC piping from the MAF to TB redone to fit the P51 and allow the IAC to be hooked back up. i got the wideband and nitrous stuff all finished up and hopefully i will be picking it up tomorrow afternoon to put some miles on it. i drove it about 10miles from my shop to Fastlane today and it drove like ****. the IAC was open and it was basically a HUGE vacuum leak and it would not idle worth a damn. (obviously)
they should have the idle and surging problem fixed tomorrow.

i have some pics of it all finished. sorry they are crappy cell phone pics

i also switched to a Spec stage 3+ clutch and it is frickin awesome!! the pedal effort is very light and it doesnt engage nearly as hard as the regular 6 puck stage 3
