My Engine pic

Hi I am new here and wanted to share with you what I have been trying to finish. Just got the car back from the bodyshop, paint has been completed and now I am busy putting everything else back together. Here is a photo of my engine in its current state. I only have to connect the fuel lines at this point and then I will be able to start the engine. It is a 331 stroker from Keith Craft, it should be pretty loud since I have only the open headers for an exhaust system at this point. Let me know what you think, Thanks, Jeff

The heads are AFR185, no that is an Air Gap intake, Speed Demon 650. The cam is from Comp cams, I don't remember the specs or which one they used but it was in the Xtreme High Energy series. I used a FlowCooler water pump, March underdrive pulleys and their billet bracket for the alternator. I used Tri Y headers that have been Jet Coated. I supplied them with the Cobra valve covers and the Cobra oil pan.

I have added TCP sub frame connectors, used a 1" drop 185# rear leaf springs. I installed the Del a lum rear shackle kit from Global West, and used KYB gas adjust shocks. The third member is a Currie 3.55 trac loc. I had the C4 rebuilt using a shift kit and a Hughes servo, along with HD bands and clutches. I replaced the rear brakes with 10 x 2 1/2 drums from a full size Ford.

In the front I used G/West upper and lower control arms, the steetortrack strut rods, and roller spring perches from Cobra Automotive. I selected the Promotorsports variable rate front coils and used the KYB's again. I added the BOSS style lower front crossmsmber ,and both the Export brace (not in place now) and the Monte Carlo bar. I tried to use the F/River rack and pinion kit, but as you all may have heard it does not fit for S#$%. I returned it and am using their 16:1 manual gear with the Shelby quick steer kit. I have the Vintage wheel 50 series (Shelby 10 spoke) wheels which are 16x8, but I will wait until last before installing them. I have the SSBC power disc setup for brakes in the front.

I think that pretty much covers all I have added or changed. so far......
