i went in to galpin yesterday and placed and order for a 07 alloy gt 5spd with back int. heres is my question for those of you who have placed an order. What type of form did the fill out for you. mine was a photocopy that i could barley read. i was not satisfied with the way that was done. it just felt so unprofessional i would think they would have like a check list for the options. for example for my interior color option he but down black. im just woried about waiting 8 weeks and then not getting the right optioins.

Any info will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

I would definatly go back and talk to the sales mgr, there are quit a few options you may want like the 3:55 rear end gears.

I would have the salesman and sales manager put down in writing exactly what options you have ordered. Also have them agree to knock 5% more off of the price if it comes in with the wrong equipment.

I ordered my '07 from my dealer i got my '00 off of over the phone. Afterwards he had me come down and gave me a Vehicle Order Confirmation sheet with everything that i wanted just to make sure. If they can't at least print that off for you they don't care to much about your order or business.

I got my 05 Mustang from Galpin back in Apirl 05, and I couldn't be more pleased with the service I received there. I didn't order mine, so I can't speak on behalf of that, but maybe you got a bum sales person. The guy I got actually went out of his way to personally pick up my car from the train lot in Riverside so that I was sure to get the car. (it was 1st come 1st served, and he called my cell phone to let me know when to meet him at the dealership so that I would be 1st.)
Galpin is a huge dealership and they will do what it takes to get a positive response on the survey you receive after buying a car. So go back and speak with them about your concerns. Just my 2 cents.

I ordered an 05 F-250 and it was done all on the computer...nothing to fill out. I just told the salesman what I wanted and it came to me just the way I ordered it.

You have to stay on top of your salesman, I did and it took to cars to get the right one.

I got a computer print out of what I wanted. The salesman confirmed that it was right, then we agreed on a price. The next day he faxed me the DORA including the VIN.

He also told me to look at alernative financing because Ford just wouldnt deal on a GT. My bank be Ford Credit by 2%.
