Your favorite thing about my new o5 V6 is...???

Just wondering what it was that you liked most about your new O5 V6. (V8 owners welcome too. )

Me? My favorite thing - the CLEAN lines... I've always been a fan of a simple design with good lines.

I thought about adding a GT grill and/or front/rear bumper, but decided against it. The clean lines of an o5 V6 I think will be remembered for years to come. No ground effects to speak of.. no side badging... clean grill different than the Gts and 06 Pony Package... and retains the pony and tri bar rear badge. Kinda like the 84-93 Mustangs.. i always liked the lx models without the ground effects more than the gt ground effects. Just a subtle difference that i will always remember.

Just interested to hear what you guys/girls liked most about your new stang? V8 owners welcome as well...

I'm in agreement with you. I love the classic sexy lines of the car. However I also love the interior design. The seats are comfortable, I love the steering wheel, and I love the retro look of the dash gauges.

My favorite thing? Not having an i4.

I just spent two days driving across 8 states in a i4 Escort. I would have sold my right...well you know...for the v6 stang. Just thought I'd let you know. Don't take the criticism of the GT guys. A v6 goes a long way with just two extra cylinders. My God it was hard being on the highway and trying to pass someone. Hills=death to an i4.

In order:
1. Great power in the GT- not too much, just right, even when not driving aggressively.
2. Not a line out of place- perfect look, perfect blend of retro and modern.
3. Great handling- they fixed all the issues on past 'Stangs.
4. Quality- for an all-new car: I have had one problem- the CD player- repl. under warranty.
5. LOVE that Torch Red!!!

I like the fit; I'm 6'5" tall and I fit great in this car. I was worried that w/ a clutch it might be a little tight, but no probelems. The seats are very good, and the shifter is well placed.

For me, it is the Retro Styling in the modern package ....

AND the surprising power of the V6 at an economy price !

For me the selling point was the unbeatable looks and power for the price. I still catch myself looking back at my car after I park it and saying "Damn, that is a sexy car." Lol.
