My friends BMW

I was in Spokane two weekends ago for the BMW drives I do once a year over there, and this is one of my buddies BMW E46 M3 With a HPF Stage 2 kit. Full weight minus the back seat and passanger seat. Has DR too. If he breaks in 10's and gets 1000 bucks from HPF. There's only like 20 or 30 cars in the country that have this done. HPF is based out of Portland. I have lots of other races with him in them too, but there not to legal, so I'll let you find them for yourselfs. Anyways, my 2 cents.

Damn near 140 mph and he can't get a 10?...... WTF?

Remember, Horsepower Freaks got their start with Supras so low 11's at 135-140mph is probably about all they expect

Ya he doesn't plan on draging it much I don't think anyways, just wants the 10 secend slip. There track is VERY VERY ****ty preped. He'd be in a 10 already at PR or Brem.

Actually I have heard otherwise from many of my "Race in Mexico" car friends, and they swear by the track in Spokane, and state that it is 100 times better than PR or Brem.

Those kits look like a lot of fun and are very well made. The biggest frustration with that combo for a lot of guys is the lack of torque. The cars are very easy to control, but the VE is already so high on those engines from the factory, that the torque is pretty much tapped out on low boost.
