Couldn't be happier. My stock hood DOES close over my new Cobra manifold (w/1" phenolic spacer), AND my manifold fits over my new $30 Summit chrome valve covers. 
Now lets just hope that tommorow when I fill her up with fluids and fire it up she doesn't leak....
