My interior roof is caving in near my windshield!!!

When I am inside the car looking out i dont notice it, but when I am out side the car and look through the windshield, i can see about an inch gap running all the way across the top of the windshield.

it seems that the material the fabric is mounted too is starting to fall off from the sheet metal from the top of my car. what is the fix for this?

mind you its not like the fabric is peeling off, like you see in some beater. its the whole panel the fabric is mounted too that is falling out.

I think they made it that way, as I had 2 SN-95s, both have the same gap. From the outside, you shouldnt be able to see the gap because of the black stripe at the top of the windshield...do you have a new windshield? (The OEM Mustang windshield has the very small running pony on it near the bottom, centered.)
I used the gap to run wiring for my Nitrous setup - I built a switchbox and mounted it in the (useless) cargo gimmick in the ceiling..then ran all the wires thru a convoluted tube thru the channel gap along the edge of the headliner. Below is a quick pic I took before perm mounting the tubing - it's attached with velcro to the headliner between the switchbox and the windshield...so it looks great now that it's all finished, the tubing tucked up on the ceiling, then it disappears into the channel/gap.

I just have my switch tucked up on the panel where the cig lighter and such is
