Alright, I am going to post up some of the list I compiled. If anyone has a suggestion of a better product/brand or a better price, let me know! I am no mechanic by any means!

-----Purchased parts---------

-Edelbrock Performer 1.90 heads
-BBK headers & H-pipe
-1.6 roller rockers
-Heads also came with valves (not springs)
-Valve Springs
-TFS Stage 1 cam

-------To Purchase-----------

-Head Bolts - Edelbrock $40
-Head bolt bushing kit - Edelbrock $40
-Push Rods - Ford $40
-Timing gear & chain - Ford $70 (edelbrock has one for $50, would that be ok?)
-Head gaskets - Fel-pro
-Valve cover gaskets - Fel-pro $14
-70mm Edelbrock TB $200
-255LPH fuel pump - Summit $115
-Fuel pressure regulator & gauge - ? $100
-Camshaft prelube - Ford $5
-Flowmaster 3 chamber mufflers $80/ea
-Intermediate pipes - $30 both
-Tail pipes $40/ea
(all exhaust 2 1/2")
-Just remembered I will need header gaskets
-Intake - TBD

Am I missing anything here? I have never done this before remember!
Furthermore, should I be replacing the PCV valve and EGR valve? The PCV is $4 and EGR is $60
Also, I have been tempted to pick up an MSD 6A ignition module. Would that do anything for me?
I might also add that my car has a new radiator and water pump, with a 180 degree t-stat, I remember someone being concerned about cooling issues with this much of a change on the stock engine.
I know there will probably be better prices on this list, and if so, go ahead and make a suggestion. Most of this I got out of a Mustangs Unlimited catalog, and I mainly wanted to try to run this by people more knowledgable than I to make sure I am getting everything I need, so when I start on this, the person guiding me won't say "what? we are missing this! we can't go any further until we order that part!". (at least I will try to avoid that as much as possible).

Thanks for any suggestions and directions, I am getting pretty pumped for this stuff and I would like to place an order soon, hopefully in the next 7 days or so.
In order to cut total cost, I think I will just get a pre-made cam instead of a custom grind. It looks to me like the F303 is in the neighborhood of what I want, but then again I may be totally wrong. Let me know!

Injectors and MAF upgrade would be good idea (#24's). The stock ignition is acutallly quite good, but you can upgrade..I kept mine and it feeds the car no problem.

I was under the impression that the 19# stock injectors could handle quite a bit if they were fed properly (ie the 190 pump and regulator)? If not, this will drastically increase the cost of this project!

Isnt a bigger fuel pump needed also?(Edit----Nevermind you got it. )

Upper and lower intake gaskets and water pump gasket.

The timing chain cover gasket should come with the kit.

RTV silicone.

Thanks trophyhead, I totally forgot about the waterpump gasket. I imagine I will need a new water neck gasket as well. I can still picture myself forgetting about 32672095706 small things though!

Injectors will help with your combo if you pick a good power cam, combined with all the above hardware

You also need valve cover gaskets, timing chain cover gaskets and water pump gaskets. Get a tube of blue loctite for things like the cam bolt, etc. Also grab a tube of hi-temp RTV - the long head bolts go into the water chambers so you need RTV on them. I also smear some RTV on the timing chain and water pump gaskets. Also, run a ring of RTV around the water ports on the intake.

You need the timing chain and waterpump gaskets if you are changing the cam. You might want to replace the water pump while you are there.

You can install the cam straight up and it's usually correct on the centerline. If you want to be sure, buy a cam degree wheel and go through the process of degreeing the cam. I just installed a Comp Cams cam, and I had to install it 2 degrees retarded to get it on the correct centerline.

Alright, now from my recent understanding, I need to decide on what cam I am getting before I get pushrods, right?

Which cam would be better for the above setup, the F303 or the E303? Remember this is more of an autox car than a drag car. Or would a different "letter cam" be more appropriate? I would go custom grind, but I think that may be just outside my budget. I need to get the cam question settled once and for all so I can get the valve springs and pushrods as well.

TFS-1 cam is a better cam for the money...comp has great cams, but like custom prices are a little higher.

Alright, I bought a couple more things, and edited my list above appropriately.

Now I am looking at head gaskets, and I am all confused because they have different bore sizes. I assume I would be using stock bore size, right? If so, what the heck is the stock bore size? I see .38in through .47in on the first page on summit alone. Thanks.

off the top of my head.
oil, oil filter, antifreeze, fuel filter, valve retainers, valve locks, the inj upgrade is a good idea, so is the adj reg.you didn't mention what head/rocker style you have... if bolt down, you will need shims.buy a cay back system(trust me ). i would replace the water pump, check rad when you remove it.
if high mileage, new lifters.
you need an intake btw,soon..the 70tb is over kill. 65mm will be a better fit for what you are doing.(yea, i know. they make about the same power. the 65 is cheaper)i prefer the ford timing chain(i know they work).
good luck

Thanks! Just to let people know, since it may be hard to spot on the first post, the water pump has about 2000 miles on it, so I am just going to reuse it. I am more concerned about my oil pump, that has never been replaced.

The heads are pedestal, and they came with shims.

And as far as an intake goes, presently I am leaning towards the Trick Flow Street Heat, even though it costs a little more than I was hoping to spend on an intake.
