Video of local track officals letting me run KNOWING that there was coolant on the track!!!!!!http://media.putfile.com/Pembertoncoolant-on-track

Place has reached an all time low for me personally.I guess i should have known better when ever the track official left the red lights flashing and was looking down track with his thumb up his a$$ that something was wrong. For those of you who want the whole story..................

What you saw in the video was just the beggining! When i got to the time shack i told the girl " hey i think you guys have something in the pitt side lane" She responded by pointing to a trail off coolant saying " YEAH we know.....you were the last one we were going to let run, a bike blew 2 passes before you!" My jaw dropped. I went up to the staging lanes to confront the official and he said, " We thought it was your car the blew the coolant" WELL THEN HOW THE HELL DID THE TIME SHACK GIRL KNOW IT WAS A BIKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was so outraged! That is a safty endangerment! Excellent means of communication and i know the track official was lying because in the video you can see him communicating with someone via walky talky while the red lights are flashing. That fat son of a bitch knew all along. They ended up dragging that side of the track 5 times after my pass Does anyone know of a number i can call to complain about local nhra regional tracks?

yeah thats pretty dumb. Its dark in the vid but I couldnt see anyone walking out on the track testing the grip.

Usually if the red lights flash they walk the track pretty quickly...

As soon as he hit the red flashing lights you should have backed out, or at least I would have. I would have then asked what the issue was. Needless to say you got screwed by them and their lack of care for drivers there. I'm sure you didn't know there was coolant on the ground and to know they knew it was there and let you run... that would sour me for a while.

I personally would take that video to the tracks head guy and tell him how you feel. Might get some free passes out of it or something, if you would even want to go there again!

Yea i think thats ridiculous. I cant believe they let you go...and then i cant believe the guy lied to you. Did you tell him that the time shack lady already told you what happened with the Bike? I would also send in that movie....they are messing with peoples' lives doing that. I agree with 25th...i would have backed out and shut it down to make sure everything was safe...and made them walk the track....looks like you got a little sideways down about 150 ft! was that because of the coolant. That would have sucked if it caused you to put it in the wall! I'd bitch

yes sir! the coolant was laying on the track from about the 100ft mark all the way to the end. I new there was something wrong with my car almost faced the wall in 2nd gear im just glad it didnt happen on a nitrous pass while i was shifting into 4th

looking back i should have just backed out because now my confidence has been shaked and im going to think about hitting the wall the next 10 times i go down the track

One reason I always watch the guy in front of me... You never know what can happen. Any track dumb enough to let cars go down it with coolant should not be open for business.

eeeeesh, complain bitch and moan about it. What they did was NOT right at all! We all say "don't street race, go to the track!" Not too fun if you're scared of hitting a wall because of people's lack of motivation to work.

How far away are these tracks?

Our closest is 1.5-2 depending if we tow, and the others are 2.5-3.5...

I personally would run at the 2.5-3.5 tracks if this sort of thing happened!

lol i wish i could afford to. i don't talk to the track staff at thunder valley. i think most of them are douche's. i DEFINITELY don't rely on them for my safety. never have. just gotta be aware of whats going on around you when you're there and watch your own @ss. because you know they won't.

thunder valley, the one we're talking about, is about 15 minutes south from me. modular is about 40 minutes north of me, so about an hour for him. tulsa is about an hour and a half to two hours north east from us.

i say anything that steers traffic from the douche bag's at thunder valley and keeps me from having to drive through white trash Noble, would be awesome! that would be a good spot, mustang holds that annual mustang car show, lots of open space for a track and it's still under an hour away.

me and a couple other guys have been giving it alot of thought! Im thinking im going to check into and see what we can do (as far a city ordinances go) I bet it would rake in a bankload in that area (more metro located)
