My mustang hates me!

This hose broke and I have no idea what it is???
any and all help would be awesome!!!:SNSign:

That hose controls all your vacuum actuated gizmos under the dash, such as your vent direction. I'll bet with that disconnected, your air only comes out of the defrost doesn't it?

I'm not sure, but my car is shaky and wants to die when its disconnected .

The car comes with a connector at this joint. It is part of the climate control system. You will have a problem with the idle when you unplug this because your leaking now. You can get a rubber coupling that will allow you to connect the 2 hose back together.

get a lil gasket maker and put it around each of the broken sides ***Don't cover the hole obviously*** then slip some 1/4 vacuum hose over each side to fix it. I know i said it before but don't get the gasket maker near the broken ends....blocking the vacuum wouldn't be good. This is how you fix any plastic line. Some folks just slide the 1/4 over these hard plastic lines....i don't like leaks so i use a lil gasket maker to ensure a proper seal.
