Ok....

So if have a normally asperated engine...with a stupid K&N filter in it...that's IT!

Will I see any performance enhancement to my ride (Stock 99GT)?

They are claiming like 10 to 15RWHP but I'm a little skeptical about that.

My MAC CAI comes in next week early any ideas on that?

My next step is a Steeda Dragon or C&L Plenum with a new BBK 75MM throtle body. Then underdrive pullys from Steeda.....then LT headers from Holy ceramic if they have them. Then new Cat backs.

Oh yeah forgot the new Steeda Tri-Ax shifter for my T-5!

NICE

Well spank my A$$ and call me Charlie

LOL!

Yeah I picked one up for $300 bucks....heheheh

Let me know how it goes. I'm a computer geek...so I was thinking about wrapping the dll that the PC Software tool useses and create my own performance monitoring application. The one that Diablo has is ....ok....but needs some work.

Well, got it installed. I can feel maybe a tiny bit more power, but I have an auto and the thing I like most is the altered shift points and shift firmness. Seems to keep me in my powerband better.

Also, you have to use premium fuel if you use their default tune, but you can alter that with fine tuning. I just decided to use their default tune for now.

Hmm...

Is it just me or does it appear this person is talking to himself? Multiple screen names too.

Oh well.

Anyway, congrats on the purchase. It's a great tool.

Ebay my friend!

If you have some serious Balls and courage of steel that is! LOL

yeah you can pick up some pretty good deals on the bay...but:

No warranty "usually if it's used"
No returns "again if it's used"
You are praying you get that e-mail "oh here is the tracking number'.

LOL

personally i felt a sotp difference in my (almost) stock GT. but i still like it, i get better gas mileage it runs better and it has a little more power. btw advance the spark by +4 over the diablo tune, you shouldnt get any detonation and u can feel a little more power that way i havent messed with the fuel yet but im gonna play around this weekend, post if i find anything.

I'm looking at your setup and ...I like...I like...seems do-able for the intial "I'm moding my car rush feeling".

So did you mess with the timing at all? I mean stock is like 10 degrees or something right? I heard you can advance it to like 14 ....but can you do this via the computer? I mean don't you need a freakign Steeda timing adjuster for that?

nice on the spark...no pre-det huh? Sweet.

p.s You are going with H pipes instead of X huh? Why just curious

if you have the predator you dont have to buy a steeda timing adjuster to adjust the timing, you can do that w/the predator. and if you buy off of ebay just make sure the seller has a good rating, ive never had a problem. i'm running 14* of timing on 93 octane with no detonation yet so you can go at least that high, some go 15 or even 16.

I moded the Spark timing from 20 + 8 clicks or + 4 and all hell seemed to be breaking loose....

LOL

I started backfiring I swear....LOL

So I pulled over....and retunned to 4 clicks or +2 on my tune

So again I'm at 22 degrees advanced on 2k - 4.6k and 4.6k - 5.6k

It's working great!

Anyone change the Tourqe settings for firmness and available tourqe on shift? I think I may wait for my Tri-Ax to get in before I do that!

Thanks all!

With the Predator, can you adjust the part throttle shift points or just the WOT shift points??? Also, can you specify when torque converter lock-up happens? How about specifying a speed that overdrive comes in? Thanks!
