want a 2011gt very bad, but i was watching pinks today there was a 2010 gt AND a 08 gt , both 4.6s, they both had superchargers and they were in the low 12s , thinking about looking for a left over 2010 gt, they are going for around here for the low 20s, add the supercharger and have 2011 5.0 performance? any body have a supercharger on their 4.6? how do you like it? thanks.

Plan A: spend 20K on a used car, spend 6K on a supercharger. Get a car thats pretty darn fast, but that has no warranty, and is several years old.

Plan B: spend 30K on a new car that is just as fast, get a full warranty, and have the potential to add a supercharger later in the future to make it crazy fast...

You decide whats more important.

going with plan b, iam a 62 year old fart, the mykey thing ill use when my wife drives it, lol, she says i can buy the new one as long as its the dark blue, i hate that color but ill live with it.

Ill be inclined to agree with getting the new 5.0, these things have tons of power, much more than needed for daily street driving. Although you can always purchase a warranty for any car, i think overall the 5.0 is still better. This aftermarket industry is growing and by the time your warranty is up, im sure they will have a bolt on kit for you to blow past that 4.6 :)

yes they are very powerfull, i test drove a couple, i used to drive mopors in the 60s, a few roadrunners , but what reminded me of the new 5.0 was a 69 dart 340 auto, 355 gears, it just flew from 30 to 80 mph. cant wait till i get the new 5.0.
