Well ts been a couple of months since i sold my car and ive been fiending like a crack head. So i purchased a car to start my new project. Here are some pics. Im putting an 86 GT nose on it and wiring it like an 86 gt front to back. Im gonna put a 5.0 in it. Not sure about tranny yet. The car is T-top and was flooded so i got it with title cheap. Body has 1 or 2 dents and no rot what so ever. IM planning on striping it down to bare shell and going all out. If i do everything right it should take about 1 year to finish. :D

It hall all windows when i bought it but it looks like some kids smashed them before i picked it up. It should be pretty straight forward on this project. But ill probabbly run into all sorts of problems.

Just talked to the guy where i picked it up from and he is letting me take the windows i need from the other cars they got there so at least I dont have to pay for the windows that were smashed.

I just hope it was free. No offense, but I have CHARGED poeple to haul off cars in better shape. I am definately glad to see someone willing to go through that much trouble to restore a 4 eyed car though. Should keep you busy for a while. I wish I had time to fininsh my 86. Why not keep the nose thats on there. Those are pretty mean looking front ends. You got the T-tops with it right?

:stupid: The only thing that car has going for it is the T-tops. Thank God there are people like you to save those things from the crusher though. I wouldnt have touched that thing...

Also remember, you are going to have to change the K-member to make any V-8 fit. The 6 cylinder k members are completely different. Glad to see you are restoring it, considering it's worth more in scrap metal right now then anything else! :nice:

He wont have to change the K-member on that car because it is a V6. It was the 79-82 straight six cars that would need to be changed.
