I had a little free time at "The Zone" today and an idea popped into my head.

Step 1: I'm going to run my 100% stock 77 pinto exactly like I pulled it from the junk yard. I have barely even run all of the stale gas out of this thing. Let me tell ya.....Its a rocket!. I've been high 7's in the 1/8th with the coupe and I'm honestly projecting consistant 13-14 sec 1/8th mile passes.

Step 2: I'll go about my regular schedule of stripping the car to absolutely nothing and switching to manual steering, brakes, No A/C, cutting fenderwells and switching to the 8" rear I just put together.

Step 3: I have a Racer Walsh 2.0 and a rebuilt C4 laying here that is for my MG(long ways away from being done) I'm going to set this 2.0 into the gutted car just for kicks and go run all of the remaining money events (Like the $2000 day I missed today)

I'm a decent bracket racer so I can easily go 3-4 rounds in anything auto. I'm hoping to make the pinto just fast enough that it doesn't take all day to make one run and slow enough that I get the first kick for every race.
I'm going to act on this very quickly before the reality of what I'm doing sets in. lol Like being drunk.

I'm open to mor stupid suggestions. Just so Everybody knows I will be building this into a possible 5sec 1/8th car, but I'm looking for creative ways to help pay for it.

I never thought about that. I could make "Tuner Modules" that plug into the coolant sensor that change resistance/voltage and change the A/F mixture.
