Thanks man, sounds even better when it actually pulls all the way through the RPM band

So I guess the DBX was part culprit. Good job, keep searching other things.

So you're going to put in another used dizzy? Even it if fixes the problem, how long till it happens again? If you send me your dizzy I'll rebuild it for you free, just buy the part! I have a 351 dizzy here now, I can rebuild it and send it to you and you can just swap me.

Trust me, don't go with a used part on this one, you won't be ruling anything out that way.

is the one you have now a Ford unit? The only reason Im considering going w/ the other one is b/c its an OEM ford (Which has the best electronics out of anyone else) and it only has 16,000 on it.

well, since mine was pulled off the 94 351W I just bought I'm gonna say it's a Ford factory piece. But if you're sure the one you're getting only has that many miles on it, then go for it, it should be alright for years.

well now its not running again, I guess the fact that it started up and I was able to drive it was just a fluke b/c I came home tonight from work and it would not start up again for more then a few seconds before it would die.
