hey guys boy do i got a story for you. first off i hate street racing and i don't support but sometimes you get a real you know what that thinks his car is so fast (mostly chevy guys) that no other car is even worth being on the road with it. anyway i'm coming home from walmart last night i stop at a light and what pulls up next to me and my 95 stang gt a corvette i'm unsure what year but i know it was 73 to 76 stingray. so here we are he looks at me and starts shaking his head looking at me then he revs his engine i was like big deal. so the light goes green he launches i couldn't resist the urge and nailed so i have an aode i left it in drive i was along side him coming out of first chirp!!!! i'm in second (props to my shift kit) there i go by the time i was coming out of 2nd i couldn't see him next to me anymore he was a full car behind me i looked down and the speedo said 70 so i hit the brakes and of course he then went flying by me. but i proved my point like i said i hate street racing and i was on a freeway at 11 o clock at night so theres was hardly any cars but i can't stand corvettes or their owners.

In before the lock...

Those stingrays, in particular the 5.7L's, had very low horsepower numbers - In the 180-190 HP range...

i hear ya. i knew this guy that had a 78 corvette that had a mild 350 in it. i helped him work on it a lot and he started talkin that chevy is better than ford garbage. that guy was always workin on that car, could never get it to run right. i would laugh at him all the time cause he never drove his car cause he had one problem another. he would get so frustrated with his car and i told him my ford runs and yours doesnt.

For One I Love corvettes especially stingrays, ZR-1's, Z06. Since a little kid.

But I love MUSTANGS Too plus they are cheaper and easier to mod.

Second :Track: speeding is never good unless your winning.
