Here is a review of some performance parts I have on my car.

1. Diablo Sport chip dyno-tuned - Not worth money for hp on a n/a car wiht bolt ons, but worth the money on not having to buy a speed cal, mil elimators or a timing adjuster. only gained 12 rwhp and 20 lb torque with the chip and vrs off-road x-pipe.

2. vrs off-road x-pipe - Go ahead and spend the money on either a dr. gas, bassani, or magnaflow x-pipe, you'll get the gains your looking. Sound is much better with the vrs than the other pipes. Its more smooth and not as raspy as the bassani pipe is.

3. 160 thermostat - not worth the time or money, only difference is slower to get to the normal operating temps (210 or so). Be careful, the factory thermostat housing and o-ring don't really do well with each other and I ended up snapping the housing in half.

4. nitto drag radials - Horrible in cold weather, worse than normal street tires. But great when warmend up with a powerbreak. Hook good on the strip, I busted a 1.90 short time with 4.10's and a weak 2700 rpm launch. Good enough tires at the track to break my rear end, alot of it had to do with the sidewall doesn't flex as much as a et street does.

5. Lakewood 90/10 struts - Great weight transfer and can get used on a daily driver, not noticeable on the highway unless in construction. Great worth while mod for lower et's. Don't let the lable drag use only effect you on buying a set of these.

6. Densecharger Cold Air Intake - I have the full length unit. Don't bother buying this. Didn't notice any gains with my sotp meter. Hard to fit together without some strength in it. My air filter is unstable inside the fender and its badly bet up cause of this. Water gets in there to much and filter looses the oil to fast. Pieces come undone at the throttle body and at the fenderwell where its mounted

7. Steeda U/D pulleys - worth while mod, not to hard to install if you have a air tools, otherwise not likely gonna fully happen without them. Noticed the power right away, I'd say 7-10 rwhp. Voltage loss at low rpms is not noticeable.

8. 31 spline moser axles - Get superior or strange for fitment issues. one of my moser axles was 1/8 to long and the caliper was grinding into the rotor. Very loud, and grooved in the rotor. The axles are gonna hold up to the abuse, just not worth it if there gonna have fitment issues like that. I piad $220 from moser.

9. Kenny Brown subframe connectors - Noticed the stiffness of the chassis right away. They are not full length but seem to do the job. They fit perfect. In my honest opinion should be one of your first mods.

10. Eibach Sportline Springs - perfect looking drop on a 99+ mustang. 2inches all the way around. The car handled great, bad decision from me getting these cause now I want a drag oriented spring set-up, thus going to drag front and rear coil-overs soon. These springs allow like no weight transfer at all. But was able to cut a 2.0 60 foot time on the goodyears with no other suspension mods with them.

Just thought this might help some people who are thinking of doing some of these things.
