Can't forget about my fellow sixers. I was also wondering, should I take off the wing on my car? or leave it alone? I just thought the wing delete would look better. Any input would be appreciated.

I'd say keep the spoiler, replace the headlights, and get better wheels. Maybe the windows would look good tinted. You've already got dual exhaust, I see.. the only other thing is I might try to get those door ding strips of plastic off the doors.

+1 Smoke the front and rear lights. Trash the wheels. And yes...cover those naked windows! And maybe...oooh Louvers on the back window. My next stang is gonna have louvers.

I don't want to spend too much on this stang guys. It's only my DD and my other stang is the one that gets all the treats. I'm not bashing the sixer or anything I do take care of her as much as I can and love her. I agree though, the headlights will have to be replaced sooner or later. I can use my high beams at night and get away with it, no one will flash me lol. The tint is not a bad idea either. But the wheels might be pricey. Thanks for the input guys.

don't lose the spoiler, I always think newer Mustangs look naked without them. As for pricey wheels, well, that's why God invented e-bay! I got my set of four 16 inch GT 5 star wheels for $200, in great shape. They improved the look of my car by about 590%.

It was $200 for just the wheels, but there are good deals out there still.. like this one that's on ebay now for example:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/05-0...017QQitemZ270214664630QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW

17" Bullitt wheels, with Pirelli tires, $569 even if the tires turn out to be crap, they'll last for a little while, and then you can get some good ones.

How would you go about taking the parking lot ding guards off? I plan getting a 03-04 cobra hood for my GT and putting the GT hood on my sixer

It's held on by double stick tape, so you could try some adhesive remover and fishing line to carefully saw it off.

Assuming your '01+ wing is stock, then you stock headlights should already be the '01+ smoked versions. Just wet sand the hell out of them.

I'd suggest a Mach I grille delete and maybe a chin spoiler.

As for rims, I'd stay away from the 16" waffles. They look good on '94-'98 cars, but look odd on new edges. Maybe find some cheap Bullitts. Or if you're really on a budget, the 16x7.5 5-spokes that were optional on the new edge V6.

I had those same 15x7's on my '01 V6 as long as I had it. The only thing nice about them is the price of tires. But that car could never hook up in the rain.

Yeah it's the stock wing. I actually wouldn't mind a mach1 chin and grille delete but I don't want to spend much on my sixer as I got intentions to mod my other stang. I do look on ebay sometimes for the grille and chin though if they are selling for cheap As for the rims, I know the stocks are ugly but the tire cost is what makes me want to keep them. If I had the extra cash then I would replace them in a heart beat but I'm just a poor college student

i have the same set of 5 spoke GT wheels from a 96 GT with tires for sale. $400 for rims and tires. the tires have 75% tread left and both the tires and wheels are in excellent shape. the tires are Kumho Ecsta 245/50/16. What a grippy tire! but anyways if anyone is interested, i need to sell these as the bullitts i bought in their place badly need tires.
